Over the past two years, Fassett has been dedicated to stepping up and promoting THUMBTECHS as a premier IT services provider, taking the actions necessary to create the absolute best service available in DFW. Over the coming years his intention is to take the company Nationwide to provide this level of service to small, medium, and enterprise level businesses everywhere.

Technology inside of THUMBTECHS is focused on helping assist customers manage, consult, and execute projects. In the past year alone, THUMBTECHS has implemented:

THUMBTECHS:LIVE – Our 24/7 network monitoring tool, provided to all of our THUMBTECHS:PROTECT customers in order to prevent problems before they affect your networks. In addition, it features asset management and a variety of reporting tools in order to maximize hardware utilization.
Online Trouble Ticketing – A majority of our customers have embraced our new GET HELP NOW button on our website, submitting support requests online instead of over the telephone. This has dramatically improved our response time and our ability to know exactly what you want, every time.
Remote Network Support – Using remote access technology, we are now resolving issues much faster, as it allows our technicians to stay behind monitors more than windshields. Coupled with our monitoring and online trouble tickets, we are helping more users simultaneously than we have ever been capable of in the past.
New Email/Web Server Cluster – In our co-location facility downtown, we now have a completely redundant, load balancing server cluster that increases speed, utilization, and disk space for your email and web hosting needs.
Virus and Spam Filter Services – With the addition of our new cluster downtown, we are now scanning all email being hosted on our servers for spam and viruses much more effectively. To date we have disinfected over 7000 viruses found in emails and marked over 50,000 emails as spam.
New Online Trouble Ticketing System – Our new THUMBTECHS website now provides historical information, statistics, and up to the minute status on all trouble tickets. Our database is now available to our customers in an organized searchable format.
One Click Tickets – The new article system on our website is providing a database of information to easily locate the symptoms of common computer problems. If a customer verifies that they are suffering from such an issue, a trouble ticket can be generated by a single click at the bottom of the article.
Online Product Requests – Our customers can now request products and check on their delivery status online. No longer can a break down in communication result in missing important product requests or when they are expected to be installed.
