The Vision
George C. Fassett, Jr.
President & CEO THUMBTECHS CORPORATION

George Fassett has become a leader in the Fort Worth area over the last 10 years through a continued commitment of giving back to the community. He has developed a business plan that helps customers budget, plan, and execute their needs regarding information technology in order for their computer networks to operate as practical, productive tools.

Fassett’s vision was to create an IT company based on uptime, productivity, openness, and simplicity, allowing customers to focus on their core competencies and not worry about the IT portion of their business. THUMBTECHS was to become a single price IT solution that works with the customer instead of thriving on their pain. Traditional IT firms only charge customers by the hour, making money when their customers tend to be crippled by computer emergencies. Not THUMBTECHS. Fassett saw from the beginning that if he could be paid a flat rate for keeping systems up, it would put him where he should be, on the same side as his customers.

His vision is to grow THUMBTECHS into the absolute best IT services provider in the DFW metroplex and beyond. In November of 2005, Fassett set in motion a new mission statement for his employees, his vendors, and his customers which states "THUMBTECHS provides IT that works all the time, every time in the DFW metroplex."

He frequently reminds himself and his employees of their mission. THUMBTECHS sets the bar high, and Fassett and his employees are working daily to reach it.
